一. 巴斯大学 University of Bath
巴斯大学为国际大学翻译学院联合会(CIUTI) 的四个会员大学之一，翻译与口译专业为欧洲议会特别拨款给巴斯大学所设立，志为联合国和欧洲议会输送优秀翻译人员。是欧洲最早提供翻译课程（非纯口译）的学校之一。
专业1. MA Interpreting and Translating
入学要求：任何学科GPA81%，雅思7分，各分项6.5分，以及通过笔试、面试。
专业2. MA Translation & Professional Language Skills
适合有以下五种语言的学生申请：
French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish

巴斯属于老牌的高翻院校，而且在口译，尤其是同声传译这一块是英国公认的NO.1。澡大现在适合中国学生申请的一共有两个翻译相关专业，最著名的是MA Interpreting & Translating，也就是大家熟知的同传，入学要求：雅思7.5，口语不低于7，其他不低于6.5，通过笔试面试。
Bath今年新开了一个专业叫Translationwith Business Interpreting（Chinese）,雅思要求7.5，写作不低于7，其他不低于6.5并通过笔试面试。这个专业其实是笔译（偏重商业类）加上一点基本的口译，没有同传和交传的内容，但在第二学期也有去国际组织和政府部门见习的机会。
二. 纽卡斯尔大学 Newcastle University
纽卡斯尔大学的现代语言学院的口译/翻译硕士课程，是英国大学中设有中英/英中时间最长的。
纽卡斯尔大学口译专业的录取情况：
1.英语专业或者翻译专业毕业，成绩优秀，雅思总分不低于7.5，单项不低于7.0;学校经过初步筛选后会进行相应的笔试和面试。
2.雅思总分低于7.5或者单项有低于7.0的申请人只能申请两年制的课程。
3.非翻译或者英语专业出身的申请人也可以直接申请一年的MA项目，语言要求是总分不低于7.5，单项不低于7.0并且有两年相关工作经验。对于没有相关工作经验的非翻译或英语专业的申请人来说，还有一个口语和写作不低于8.0的额外要求。

Interview 面试
Applicants who receive an offer of a place on this programme will be invited to attend an interview. For international students, face-to-face interviews will be held in their home country in either March/April or October.
Please note: Within ten days of successfully completing your interview, you will be required to pay a deposit of ￡1,500 to secure your place. This will be offset against the tuition fees at registration.
Stage 1 entry
An upper-second-class Honours degree or a degree with a minimum average of 75 per cent (or GPA 2.75) on your transcript. In addition, we require native English speaking applicants to have good degree-level knowledge of Chinese. When applying, please enclose any evidence you may have to support your second language proficiency qualification. We will also consider applicants on an individual basis with lower or non-standard qualifications who have at least two years' full-time experience as a translator or an interpreter.

纽卡一年制雅思要求7.5（7）,两年制要求7（6.5），没有笔试只有面试。一年制面试一般由聊天（自我介绍，性格阐述，家乡情况等等）+视译（新闻类）+演讲组成，两年制的面试没有演讲部分，而且评定标准也下降了很多，算是比较容易。
三. 利兹大学 Leeds University
利兹大学该专业最大的特点就是开设了会议翻译口译专业和屏幕翻译专业。会议口译是为大型国际会议服务的专门职业，会议口译较难，但市场需求大。

利兹同样也是老牌高翻，和翻译有关的专业共有三个，最著名的是Conference Interpreting and Translation Studies MA，是国际同传协会推荐口译培训项目，雅思要求7，口语听力不低于7.5，其他不低于6.5，并通过笔试面试。和巴斯一样，利兹的会议口译也很实践，主要课程有口译技巧，交替传译和双语口译，同声传译，专业笔译以及翻译方法研究。利兹的特点是有一个非常强大的翻译研究中心，同传箱之类的设备应有尽有，还配有专门的电子资源和信息中心，里面有各种专业pc,，翻译软件以及字幕软件。
利兹的笔试和面试要比巴斯容易一些，笔试内容不算简单，但是完全不限制时间，去官网下载做完之后和申请需要的其他材料一起提交就行，一般是一篇汉译英和英译汉，英译汉是新闻体裁，所以关心时事是非常重要的。
除了会议口译之外，利兹还有两个翻译相关项目，一个是Applied Translation Studies MA，一个是AudiovisualTranslation Studies MA，雅思要求7.小分6.5，只有笔试没有面试
四. 萨里大学 University of Surrey
萨里大学大学的翻译、口译类专业并不是很出名，但是其翻译中心自1985年成立以来也有20多年的历史了，提供了10多种语言间的翻译和口译。 大学安排了理论结合实践的翻译课程，目的是培养职业翻译人员，教材是极具专业性的，学生还可以选择针对商贸金融以及理工科等类的翻译训练。从1985以 来，翻译中心给毕业生提供在英国以及世界各地提就业的机会。

算不上很有名的高翻，但是有林超伦大神坐镇，所以这几年声名鹊起。萨里一共有三个翻译相关专业，最出名的是Business Interpreting in Chinese and English MA，负责人就是大名鼎鼎的DrKevin Lin OBE。课程主要内容有交替传译，同声传译，经济/商务笔译以及口译研究，选修包括公共服务口译，口译和社会等。上课设置很实践，并且有内置的伦敦实习项目（KL Communications Ltd）。
BICE这个项目每年招收20人左右，竞争也很激烈，雅思要求7（6.5），通过笔试面试。笔试限时3.5个小时，只有英译汉，一共十段摘自不同文章的话，很像平时做的翻译练习，难度适中，面试是和利兹一样的聊天，自我介绍，why this program，职业规划等等，总的来说，录取难度略低于前面四所学校。
根据就读的同学反馈，萨里真的是一所非常非常棒的学校，对学生各种体贴，所以每年的学生满意度都是冠绝全英。商务口译这个项目训练强度非常大，林博士对每个学生要求都很严格，推荐程度不亚于巴斯纽卡利兹和威敏。
五. 曼彻斯特大学 University of Manchester
开设专业：
1.MA Translation and Interpreting Studies
雅思7分，单项不低于7分
2.Conference Interpreting MA
雅思总分7，写作不低于7
3.Translation and Interpreting Studies MA
雅思总分7，写作不低于7
曼大算是近几年来翻译发展最迅猛的名校了，一共有两个相关项目，最有名的是 Conference Interpreting MA。课程内容包括口笔译研究的研究方法，口译研究，交替传译，同声传译-高级同传的早期技巧发展，理论和实践并重，算是曼大的一个特色。学生有去联合国（日内瓦）和伦敦海事组织见习的机会，学校还有新建的同传练习室供大家使用。
MACINT申请雅思要求7，写作不低于7（也是奇葩。。。），没有笔试只有面试，面试是skype形式，基本上是聊天+中英文复述+时事新闻，有很多关于政治经济的内容，但是总体来说难度不大。
